Here are some opportunities for St. Davidians: Aboriginal Awareness Week June 19-24: 

• June 19^th: Aboriginal Week Opening Ceremonies: Olympic Plaza from 11:30 am -1:00 pm 
• June 23^rd: “The People’s Gathering” Olympic Plaza from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Sponsored by the Alex Community Health Centre 
• June 24^th: PowWow Family Day at the Calgary Stamped.e Old Indian Village (south end) from 9:30 am – 8:00 pm

Our 2016-2017 Church Year is drawing to a close. Our grade four children have received their bibles and our grade sixers have moved up to "Youth." We have enjoyed our annual church picnic together (May 28) and have even survived our annual congregational budget meeting. 

Our Silent Auction ended on June 11, 2017. Thank you to donors and bidders.

Sunday, June 11 was our "Blanket" exercise Sunday which will help us to more tangibly understand the issues behind Reconciliation. On June 18, we will be worshipping with our special guests during our Aboriginal Sunday.
